Giga Metals’ [TSXV: GIGA] has published a presentation detailing its Positive PFS for the Turnagain Nickel-Cobalt Project which is among the largest undeveloped sulphide nickel deposits in the world. The project is located in northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan and Kaska Dena, 65 kilometers east of Dease Lake and 400 kilometers north of the Port of Stewart. Giga has also published its first quarter report for the three months ended March 31.
Giga Metals announced a board restructuring at the end of last month with board member Lyle Davis agreeing to become non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors with immediate effect. Mark Jarvis will step down as Chairman but will continue as CEO and director of the Company.
“We believe that it is good governance to separate the roles of Chair and CEO.” said Mr. Jarvis. “Mr. Davis is a long-standing director of Giga who currently chairs our Audit and Compensation Committees and has previously acted as Giga Chairman.”
Mark Jarvis joined us on the podcast back in February to talk about how to invest successfully in mining stocks, the prospects for nickel generally, and also the changing appetite in North America for resources like Turnagain.
