According to Cannacord Genuity, "elevated pricing is delivering strong earnings/cashflow for lithium producers, funding expansion and incentivising greenfield projects/juniors." The broker says it does not expect material new supply coming into the lithium market until well into next year.
This demand for lithium is focusing investor interest on the small collection of high quality lithium miners on the market at the moment. #1. CleanTech Lithium [LSE:CTL]
A lithium junior which has listed in London and seen some very impressive share price growth. The company has projects in Chile, where it is adding to a portfolio of assets which can produce battery grade lithium while meeting stringent EU sustainability requirements. More exciting yet, CleanTech Lithium applied for new exploration licenses recently, and has now reported a discovery at its Francisco Basin project in Chile, providing a massive boost to the stock price in London.
